What happens when receiving dermal fillers?
Right before the procedure, Dr. Scott cleanses your skin to reduce the risk of infection. While you relax in a comfortable, reclining chair, your Dr. Scott gently injects filler substances into targeted areas of your face, lips, or body to add volume. Numbing medication within the filler helps reduce post-injection discomfort.

What should I expect after my treatment?
After dermal filler injections, you may resume a normal daily routine immediately. However, you can expect redness, swelling, or tenderness at the site of the injections. These side effects do not last long, but you can ice the treatment area if you would like to minimize swelling.
Dermal fillers usually last about 6-24 months or longer, depending on the type of filler you receive. After that time period, repeat filler injections help you maintain long-lasting anti-aging results.
